The Dermatology Department of the University Hospital of Nice is located in the Archet 2 Hospital. It is part of the Medical Specialties Center.

The physicians of the department of Dermatology of Nice university hospital take care of all skin disorders in children and adults. The department offers dedicated consultations and activities : pigmentary disorders, skin cancers, inflammatory skin diseases, angiomas, laser, skin surgery, allergology and genetic and rare skin diseases.

The department of Dermatology has a traditional hospitalization unit, a day hospital unit, dedicated outpatient unit, a laser center, a dedicated unit for clinical trials and a center for clinical pharmacology applied to dermatology. The clinical department is tightly connected with 3 INSERM laboratories located on the same site and performing researches on melanoma and vitiligo.

Ruxolitinib cream (Opzelura) has just obtained reimbursement in France.It will initially be direct access, that is to say that all dermatologists will be able to prescribe itbut it will have to be picked up initially from hospital pharmacies.

Numerous ongoing and future trials for diffuse vitiligo(at least 5% of the face AND 5% of the body affected).
